I have to say I am so disheartened by my latest visit. Let me start by saying I love this place! I come often due to commuting to the city 3 times a week. I actually make my commute longer by leaving from Orange, solely for this shop. While there on 6/3 around 9:15, I waited for the barista to take my order. She was working on something and seemed annoyed by me standing there. I asked if they still have their cinnabon latte available. She responded by rolling her eyes and saying “it can be made.” I hesitantly said ok and ordered. Time went by and my train was approaching quickly. I witnessed another customer order with someone else and get their order. I inquired with a different barista, l made her aware of who took my order. She attempted to ask the woman and was ignored! The owner(wonderful person) apologized to me and stated there was a lot going on. While that’s understandable, I don’t think it’s an excuse to be flat out rude to people. I think moving forward, I will request someone else’s help if she’s at the front. I hope she is properly coached.

Absolutely loved my experience at Orange House Cafe! The atmosphere is cozy, modern, and perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. Their lattes are incredibly smooth and flavorful — easily one of the best coffee spots around. I also tried the breakfast sandwich and pastries, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick even during busy hours. Definitely a hidden gem with great vibes, amazing coffee, and excellent food. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful cafe w/delicious food! I didn't have a chance to try the pastries but did try the chicken pesto sandwich and their version of a caramel frappuccino. Drink was great but the sandwich was phenomenal (def recommend). Parking was extremely tough. (Not exaggerating, I drive in Hudson County a lot). It took me a good 15 mins of driving around to get a spot, maybe cause it was a weekend at midday. BRING QUARTERS. The meters prompt you to download an app where you can pay through (not the most common ParkMobile or PaybyPhone) and their processing system fails. I tried 3 separate cards w/o sucess. I gave up and had to use my CC at the actual meter which I'm not a fan of. Overall, the cafe is super cute, clean, the food is great and staff is nice and welcoming.

We stopped in at the cafe while visiting the area. The staff was very friendly and they were helpful in making recommendations. We enjoyed a delicious and strong Freddo Cappuccino, along with a couple of their mini Greek cheese pies. Would definitely come back!

They finally put in coffee shop down by the orange train station. They recently put up apartments and this is one of the first storefronts that came in. It is a well put together place. Plenty of seating, and a comfortable, calm, quiet atmosphere perfect for decompressing after a long day of work, hanging out on a Saturday morning or meeting up with an old friend for a delicious cup of coffee. I believe it's a European style coffee house with plenty of options as well as some pastries and snacks. Their coffee is also very good. A smooth strong taste. I have had their cold brew , espresso and the cappuccino and they were all made to my liking. Give em a try!
